At long last, the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS4 and Xbox One release date has been confirmed. Best of all, past-gen gamers don't have long to wait to play the Star Wars sequel!

Jedi: Survivor originally launched on current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) and PC only, and to rave reviews - including our own.

Now, PS4 and Xbox One players can finally join in on all the lightsaber-y action.

While the game won't technically be up to par with its PS5 and Xbox Series X/S siblings, it's nice to see it hit the older hardware for anyone yet to make the jump.

Is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor coming to PS4 and Xbox One?

Yes, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to PS4 and Xbox One. Now we have a release date of late September, too!

Back in February, game director Stig Asmussen claimed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was skipping previous consoles because the newer hardware allowed the developers "to create much larger maps, with more detail, greater density, broader enemy/NPC variety, and overall fidelity".

However, it was announced during EA's earnings briefing that a port to previous consoles is now in early development. So, it turns out that players on the older systems will get a chance to try this game after all.

The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS4 and Xbox One release date is 17th September 2024, EA has confirmed.

It will retail for £44.99 on PS4 and Xbox One (keep those eyes peeled on sites such as GAME for pre-orders). If you do pre-order, you'll get the Combustion Blaster Set, Hermit Cosmetic Set and Hermit Lightsaber Set.

What's more, the PC version of the game should soon receive an update that aims to enhance its performance, controls and more.
